Construction Notes

 

Blütending is a delicate summer sweater with rising flower pattern. It is knitted as a raglan from top down. The floral pattern at the cuff (neckline) is repeated on the arms (long sleeve version) and in the side seam. The instructions include a short sleeve version and a long sleeve version.

 

Sizes: XS (S, M, L1, L2, XL, XXL)

Bust circ. in cm 86 (92, 96, 101, 107, 116, 122)

Width at upper arm in cm 27 (29, 30, 33, 36, 38, 42)

Arm length in cm short 1cm ribbing, long approx. 42-45 cm.

Total length in cm approx. 55 – 60 cm

 

Gauge:

26 sts x 38 r = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch with nd 3,25 mm and for the last 10 rows one time blossom pattern (washed and blocked!)

 

Yarn: Frida Fuchs Lametta Sock (75% Wolle, 20% Nylon, 5% Stellina LL 400 m / 100 g), in Apricot.

Yarn requirement short approx.: 800 (850, 900, 950, 1000, 1050, 1100) m

Yarn requirement long approx.: 1000 (1100, 1200, 1300, 1350, 1400, 1500) m

 

Needles: main needle 3,25 mm circ. needle (80 cm), for ribbing 2,75 mm circ. needle (80 cm). For the cast on I recommend a shorter rope (until there are enough sts on the nd), or you can also work with Magic Loop.

 

Material: stitch marker, yarn holder or waste yarn, darning needle.

 

Special techniques: increases (m1l / m1r), decreases (k2tog, ssk).
