Construction Notes
 
Eiszapfending is a fine shawl, made from a silk/mohair yarn. It is formed by increases from one point of the side and from the center by decreases to the other point of the side. The knitted shawl is interrupted by color stripes and a simple lace pattern.
 
Size: approx. 220 cm x 90 cm
 
Gauge:
17 sts x 30 r = 10 x 10 cm in garter stitch with nd 4,5 mm and blocked.
 
Yarn: Soieetlaine Cosette (56% silk, 31% Kid Mohair, 13% Polyamid, 225 m / 50 g), in MC Taubenblau and CC Zimt.
 
Yarn requirement approx.: MC 600 m / CC 600 m 
(Tip: To use the yarn effectively you can also change the color scheme in MC 3 skeins and CC 2 skeins and knit the end in MC only).
 
Needles: Needle 4,5 mm circ.
 
Material: stitch marker, darning needle.
 
Special techniques: Increases (m1l / m1r), decreases.
