Construction Notes

 

Tannen.ding is a delicate cardigan with contiguous shoulder and a Christmas fir pattern on the cuff edge. The fresh green highlights the lightness of this design and can be worn in summer and winter. The fir trees can be decorated with beads at Christmas time.

 

Sizes: XS (S, M, L1, L2, XL, XXL)

Bust circ. in cm 90 (96, 101, 108, 119, 126)

Arm circ. in cm 27 (29, 30, 33, 36, 38, 42) 

Arm length ca. 50 cm.

Armhole depth in cm 20 (20, 21, 22, 23, 24)

Total length in cm ca. 55 – 60.

 

Gauge:

24 sts x 32 r = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch with Nd 3,5 mm.

 

Yarn: SoieetLaine (56% Seide, 31% Kid Mohair, 13% Polyamid, 225 m / 50 g), in Lemongras.

 

Yarn requirement approx.: 1000 (1050, 1100, 1150, 1200, 1300, 1400) m

 

Needles: Main needle 3,5 mm circ. needle (80 cm), cuffs/ribbing with 2,5 mm circ. needle (80 cm). For the cast on I recommend a shorter rope (until there are enough sts on the nd), or you can also work with Magic Loop.

 

Material: stitch marker, yarn holder or waste yarn, darning needle, 7 buttons.

 

Special techniques: Increases (m1l / m1r), decreases (k2tog, ssk).
